On January 25, 1951 Alfonso Ruiz Soto was born in the town of Mexico. Thanks to his law studies, he graduated in 1973 from the UNAM Law School. The same year in which he graduated, he made a trip to Barcelona, ​​a city in Spain. It is here that he collaborates in the literary creation and criticism workshop that is carried out by one of the most dedicated novelists in Chile, José Donoso.

After this he obtained his Doctorate from the University of Oxford in England graduating in Letters, consecutively they offer him to become a professor at the Faculty of Letters and they grant him the position of Official Examiner in the School of Arts for undergraduate students in the career of Spanish Language and Literature. However, he advanced as a Resident Tutor, professor and examiner at the University of Nottingham in England, it is here that he decides to continue his studies and becomes a resident to do his second doctorate in Semiology.

They give you the opportunity to participate in the International Congress on Semiotics and Hispanism, which is the first to be held in Madrid, a city in Spain, in 1983, demonstrating its model of: “Dynamic Theory of Literary and Non-Literary Genres”, which is organized by the Higher Council for Scientific Research. In 1985 he decides to return to Mexico and works as a full-time researcher at the Center for Literary Studies of the Institute of Philological Research of the UNAM and for six years he becomes a member of the National System of Researchers.

He becomes the creator and head of the Institute of Semiology SC, and carries out a new educational model sustained in the development of knowledge to raise the quality of life of the human being: the Semiology of Daily Life . In this system proposed by him, the person is placed at the center of the educational process, with knowledge at the center of the person. The opinion that a person has about himself is taken to the center of knowledge, that is, it is about the vocation of the center of self-concept and attendance at the vocation center.
