The Litanies and the Holy Catholic Church

The Holy Catholic Church is the one who currently uses prayers in the form of litanies, although they are not as common today as they were in the past. Within the celebration of the mass in the churches and also outside them, the Lauretan litanies are usually used during the recitation of the rosary.

The litany to the saints is one of the most valuable and important supplications that the church has, therefore, it is usually used only on special dates of the year, although there are also important moments in which other prayers are used, such as the More important than the “Easter Vigil”, in this prayer the heavenly church is asked to protect all Christians, especially those who are about to be baptized.

The holy catholic church within itself also has a prayer which is considered the most important of all, this is motivated by the fact that a saint is not directly asked to protect us, the entire court of heaven is directly asked to to intercede for us in times of great need, uncertainty or doubt.

Final thoughts

There is a litany for each difficult moment of our lives, through them we can ask any saint to intervene for us before God or Jesus Christ, but we must not lose sight of the fact that not even the strongest prayer in the world will work if first we do not have faith in time to invoke it. God will always listen to our pleas because his love is infinite, but we have to feel from the heart for the miracle to happen.
