Catholic Prayer of Hope and for Strength

Prayer of hope ? Prayer of strength? There are as many prayers as there are people in the world. Each of them help us in a particular way, the important thing is to carry them out with great faith in God and knowing that he never abandons us.

Before sharing a  prayer of hope or any other, let us first understand what is a prayer? According to the Catholic Church, it is “a dialogue between God and men”.

Man has been created in the image and likeness of God, therefore, we have been created to praise and glorify him and there is no better way to do it than through prayer, since it not only allows us to communicate intimately with God or request our requests, but in doing so, we benefit spiritually.

A beautiful prayer. Just by reading it we can feel that it fills us with joy, love and happiness. We could include it within the “ Prayers of hope in God ”.

This prayer reminds us that God never abandons us, no matter what our fault may have been, we can always count on him, with his love, his mercy and his forgiveness.

God is omnipresent and omnipotent, he always gives us, welcomes us, cares for us, and gives us hope, even when our problems may seem uphill. God always surprises us in the most unexpected ways.

The secret of success and happiness

Throughout our lives there are going to be challenges, but if there is one thing we can be sure of, it is that God is there. Every time you hear a voice that tells you “you can’t” glorify God and pray, every time, that you feel that you don’t find a solution to that problem, glorify God and pray harder, every time, that you feel distressed, overwhelmed, sad, glorify God and pray so hard that all those feelings are transformed into joy, happiness and you can see it from a new perspective.

God always has the last word, so walk with your head held high, with the conviction that God can do anything, that there is no divine being more powerful than him, not even the evil one can against God, so what are you afraid of? ?

Something that we must understand and recognize is that God will never grant us a test from which we cannot learn and emerge victorious. God places tests on us, but also, he gives us the tools to succeed.

God is the God of fulfilled dreams, the God of hope, the God of triumphs and of the infinite blessings that He grants us daily. God is the Messiah, the king of kings, the only one who has risen and wants us to enjoy eternal life in his Kingdom.

Let us express, like the psalmist: “Let all who seek you rejoice and rejoice in You, and those who desire your victory always say: “How great is the Lord!” (Psalm 40,17)

With God, there is no obstacle or circumstance that can bend or defeat us. Let us trust in him, in his word and in his promises. Let’s be faithful to them, learn from his example, follow his path, act and work with faith and love “because the Lord is sun and shield; The Lord gives grace and glory, and does not deny his blessings to those who do what is right. Lord of the universe, happy is the man who trusts in you!” (Psalm 84,12-13)

A Prayer of Hope is normally used in those “hard moments”, those moments in which we feel that we cannot find a way out. Also, it applies to those moments when we feel that nobody listens to us or can help us. Let us remember that although no one can listen to us or help us, God is always by our side, fighting our struggles and suffering our pain.

For prayer to be truly effective and offer us this kind of “purifying force” it must be highly personal and as a reflection of us with God.

A prayer for strength brings us peace, tranquility, stillness from our negative thoughts, calm, in the face of so much anguish and uncertainty.

Daily prayer is an act of worship and obedience, a way of reminding ourselves who is the only one in control of our lives. Also, it is our way of thanking God for never abandoning us, not even when we feel like we are about to give up.
