The moral virtues are acquired through human forces. The virtues are considered as fruits of acts. They are the fruits and foundations of acts of good. They merge with the faculties of the human to adhere with divine love.

Humility must be present in the life of everyone who is consecrated to the plan that God has for each of his children in our lives. The humility of Mary’s heart goes hand in hand with the same humility of the heart of her beloved Son, her Jesus Christ.

This feeling of humility is considered a virtue that brings joy to God immensely, through it we can understand the greatness of God’s love and power and we can recognize him as worthy of praise.

Simplicity: this quality deals with the acceptance of the will of God himself without demanding anything and being in accordance with the plan that God has for our lives, we must see ourselves in the example of our Mother the Virgin Mary, who accepted the divine will without complaint , assuming everything with love of what God decided in her.

This virtue is very important for the life of the Consecrated because without it we will not be ready to receive what a life of dedication entails, that is why we must be simple if we think we are faithful consecrated people.

Faith, Hope and Charity: these are also known as the theological virtues, they were also virtues of Mary.

Obedience: Another of Mary’s virtues, she possessed it in terms of all God’s orders and mandates. She was in charge of taking care of her own son until the day he died, offering him a great education and a correct and holy life, through which she fulfilled the will of the Father God, who gave her this great task.

We must take this example from the Mother of Jesus Christ herself, and accept the teachings of obedience, which leads to the way of the cross, just as Jesus himself obeyed the Father until the final moment, professing that great joy that only love allows let us give everything to God from the humility of our hearts.

Through this feeling fidelity to the Covenant is achieved. We can define it as the generosity and delivery of the service of all believers in God for the service and will of Him.

Meekness: the Virgin Mary had a meek heart and a meek spirit, noble, she accepted the will of the Father with joy and humility.

Mary was never a seeker of fights or discord, on the contrary, from the very moment of the annunciation of the Archangel Gabriel, she immersed herself in total kindness and meekness regarding the will of God.

We must all practice that meekness that characterized the Virgin Mary herself, and through her cope with the situations that are presented to us daily and thus achieve full devotion to God.

Respect: Mary always showed great respect for the Father, at every moment of her life, even from the very moment of receiving grace in her womb, of carrying the Son of God.

She accepted everything not out of fear of God but only out of respect for the Father. This obedience was manifested in terms of all the mandates that God gave him and always fully complying with them.

We must also see this as an example in our lives that we accept God’s plans in our lives and profess respect for all our brothers of faith, as well as accept all people with all their defects and virtues.

Poverty: Mary, by her very simplicity, was never attached or never adhered to the material part, on the contrary, she was always willing to accept the little or the great that God could offer her.

He never complained about his limited life or poverty and on the contrary he was obedient in every moment of his life.

Another example to be followed by each and every one of the children of God and believers in him. We must accept our poverty and always be ready to bear what it brings.

We must never become attached to material life, on the contrary we must be and feel prepared to endure any moment that comes our way, including poverty.

Generosity: Like any mother, she suffered a lot from having to give up her own child, however, she did it with all humility, simplicity and generosity. With this beautiful act she showed God the love she professed for him.

We must be generous people with our peers or neighbors, and be proud of God at all times. We must also be ready at any time to help if any opportunity presents itself.

At all times we must keep in mind the sense of help and generosity at all times, since Jesus Christ himself in his teachings told us that what we do to our fellow men we do directly to Him.

Purity: Mary at all times was pure and virgin, she was characterized at all times by obedience to both God and all his teachings and commandments, with the faith that also characterized her.

Likewise, her life was of total purity and for this reason she was elevated body and soul to heaven. Today she is a clear example for all the children of God, since she never renounced that purity.

We must be disciples of Mary and learn to practice that same purity that characterized her during her life, we must eliminate all kinds of impurity that we have in our hearts, eliminate them even if it costs us, but we must try and by all means try to achieve it.

Availability: she was always ready at all times for God’s decisions in her life, she was never heard to say “NO” for an answer, on the contrary, she listened to each design and obeyed it and also obeyed the divine will of God.

Therefore, we must always have time for God and preach his word to all those who need us and also do good to whom we can do it. These are one of the great teachings of Jesus Christ himself, which we must do with all willingness.

Total dedication: the promise to Mary should be seen as the result of what is experienced in her heart as a Mother, it will also invite us to give her our will and freedom to learn little by little to be free and achieve holiness.

God perfects freedom thereby allowing man himself to seek the divine will of the Father himself, and thus understand that God is the only way and that makes him truly happy.

From the moment we offer ourselves to Mary we give her and place in her hands all our concerns, anxieties, plans, situations that we are going through, having true security of her, not with fear or doubt.

She will help us at all times and will only ask us for the ability we have to offer and give everything with the strength of each one of us. She will only ask us for this since her true intention is to make us grow in all areas of our lives.

Confidence: in Mary trust in the Father was always observed, she never had any doubts in serving her Father.

This abandonment of the Virgin Mary was possible thanks to the great trust that she professed in the Father. It is important this valuable gift in life is a key piece for every human being.

This feeling is considered the characteristic of the love we profess for the Mother of God and the trust we have in her.

We must place all our hopes in the kind hands of our Universal Mother Mary. We should never doubt her great love for each one of us, her children, and her providential and maternal love, even if doubts and temptations arise along the way.

Due to our sins we have the characteristic that our smallness is marked, it will depend on us that if we have a true feeling of humility in our hearts, we will not have to fall into despair, on the contrary, our trust in God will increase.

Abandonment: we all must practice this feeling that Mary professed to God in her following of Him. We must have a true sense of following God, we must even stop being necessary to family, friends, everything to follow the Father.

This value consists in abandoning oneself wholeheartedly and totally into the kind hands of Mary, just as when we abandon ourselves in the loving arms of our earthly mother, as an example we must keep in mind how Jesus himself lived in the arms of his mother.

We must let her take us as our Mother since her love is infinite towards each of her children; we must let her be the one to guide us at any time of our lives, let’s take her blessed hand and trust in her love without anguish or excuses.

The inner littleness: this refers to the feeling of inner littleness in her heart that allowed Mary to conform to the life of surrender to God.

As the same phrase says, it is the attitude that we must have in the deepest part of our hearts, the humility that we must profess to be wanted, loved and guided by the powerful hand of the Blessed Virgin Mary, along the path that has been destined for us. to walk. She will extend her hand to each of her children. It is the perception of the mother’s heart that loves us with all her strength.

Through this dedication and abandonment as well as trust in our Heavenly Mother, we once again feel like children protected by the arms of our Mother. Mary herself walks us along the path and she makes us children and poor. When we become children we allow ourselves to be led, in this case by the great love of Mary.

Those of us who truly love Mary are those who understand her with a child’s heart. The mystery of Mary becomes hidden for those who do not feel the heart of a child in the arms of our Heavenly Mother.

Mary will always be characterized by being a teaching of humility and purity of heart, in this way she comes to know the secrets of the Father. In this way she manages to copy Jesus in each one of his Consecrated.

Mary sees us as her children who have just come into the world who need warmth, love, food, care, for the love of their mother. She asks us to be tiny and to profess humility of heart, in this way we will be present in her heart.

Docility: this is another of the characteristics and virtues of Mary; She throughout her life proved to be a docile woman and was always at the disposal of the divine will.

This feeling of humility must prevail in our hearts because if we profess humility we will find ourselves guided by God, we will have teachings of providential events of daily living; With this, we will also not be aware of forcing or advancing God’s plans or time, nor will we stop them when they arrive.

Availability: Mary was always characterized by her disposition towards the things of God from the beginning and at the moment of conceiving the miracle of the Holy Spirit in her womb.

With the availability that we have in our hearts, we will be able to respond to the requirements of people in our daily lives; of those of us who must make the gospel known, to have the feeling of help and always have a heart ready to serve.

When people are docile to God, the feeling of disposition for others is present in their hearts, and feelings of help are born in them without expecting anything in return.

Availability is the internal attitude that is characterized by being in a tireless and kind way with our peers or neighbor. Jesus himself wants from us the willingness to give everything for others, just as he himself did for humanity on the cross.

He wants and demands that we have a true feeling of help and disposition with our neighbor. Just as his own mother was, who loved all her children with simplicity, generosity and total dedication.

Fidelity and firmness: the Virgin Mary always believed and obeyed God, she also showed adoration only to the Father, never to other Gods.

We must always be persevering and thus we will be faithful to what the relationship with the Alliance in the heart of the Virgin Mary demands of us. Likewise, we must feel true fidelity in difficult or difficult situations; We must not let ourselves be overcome by the various dilemmas that appear in our lives.

Perseverance and patience: these two virtues of Mary we must keep very present in our hearts. Likewise, we must have a life of real belief and surrender to God. The practice of perseverance must be present at times of difficult tests of daily life.

The Virgin Mary was always patient and persevering, in the face of the trials that were presented to her during her life. However, she was safe and confident because she had the support of the Eternal Father.

Perseverance is that it should not only be the love of God for a day, no, it should be a lifetime and growing and little by little. Jesus himself said: “He who perseveres to the end will be saved.”

With this virtue we will learn to handle our difficult situations and we will acquire patience in everything related to our daily difficulties; With this virtue we will master the natural impatience that overwhelms us and with patience we will learn to put into practice the teachings of Jesus Patient and Humble of Heart, who told us: “Through patience you will possess the earth “.

Life of prayer: Our Heavenly Mother always led a life of prayer, thereby always demonstrating the true faith she felt towards the Eternal Father.

Apart from the participation in the Mass or Eucharist of the faithful and believers, daily Communion is also important; and it is equally fundamental in his life to pray in all areas of life, and to do it daily or frequently.

The prayer must be done constantly, it can be done at any time of the day and in any place, although it is recommended to do it in a quiet place for greater concentration and communication with our Eternal Father.

We must also feel full confidence when praying, since we have to feel confident in achieving its objective depending on the reason for which it is done. In all ways, faith and trust in the divinity are important when praying.

We must remember the words of Jesus himself regarding the prayer or reading of his word when he told us: “Where there are two or more gathered in my name, there I am”.

All prayers are joys for God, especially the prayer of the liturgy. We can also mention the Holy Rosary as a special prayer to the Virgin Mary, which is a praise to our Heavenly Mother.

Likewise, when we do the Holy Rosary gradually or progressively, it is a form of union with God, and in this way our soul is freed from obstacles and leads us to holiness.

Spirit of sacrifice in the mystery of the Cross: Mary always had her north or direction through the ministry of the cross, at all times she felt grateful to God, through the death of her son for the redemption of the entire world, for such reason Mary was always his most faithful devotee.

Mary demands of us an exemplary life dedicated to dedication, humility, sacrifice; This is requested of each of her children as true believers in Christ. We as believers in him must always keep him present in our hearts and never abandon him.

When we cling to Mary we also assume that same obligation but smaller, and equally a large or small share of suffering is accepted; carrying on our shoulders the cross that Jesus places every day in our path, but always trusting that with her support and her power we will be able to overcome it.

Our sufferings and pains or sorrows must be lived taking into account the love of Christ, and remembering that he died for all humanity on the cross for the redemption of all.

How was Mary’s faith?

As the reader will know, faith is one of the theological virtues through which we have our belief in God as well as in all his teachings and the word that he revealed to us during the time he lasted on earth; and the one that the Church proposes to us, since God himself is true.

She always had the certainty of the existence of God the Father, she was a Jewish girl, she was educated in the faith of the Jewish people. She always believed in God all the time just like her family and relatives, she always saw that God was just and Almighty, and that it was revealed through the prophets to all the people of Israel.

In this statement we see how Mary felt like a creature before her own Father and Creator. She always recognized the power and authority of God, as well as the plans that He professed for her.

Mary professed a trust and inner peace that were always characteristic of the free acceptance of the mystery of the incarnation. All this was as a consequence of that strong faith that she possessed in her and that she received from her during her education between the ages of fourteen and fifteen, moments before the angel Gabriel made the miraculous announcement of her.

The Heavenly Mother was always sure of God’s love for her and that God loved her without having any merit just because she was his daughter and for this reason he owed her some obligations.

During the moment of the Annunciation, the foundations of Christian belief are affirmed. From the very moment of Mary’s yes, God’s will was accepted in her life, she assumed that first duty with her own Father.

Through these virtues of Mary we must keep in mind what our obligations are to fulfill towards our Creator. Very few believers today have plans for this in their lives.

Maria always felt very grateful for life, for being able to possess it, and for serving her Creator. Observing the life of Mary, we could ask the following questions, namely:

What does God need in general, at present, regarding the world and the Church? As for us, what will he need from each of us?

The answer to this should be in terms of the general and particular, we must have the discernment of the will of God the Father in our lives and we must accept the situations as they arise without showing off for the triumphs and achievements, as well as for the defeats or failures.

Likewise, what we can change we must fight for all the time; and what we cannot change we must accept with total and simple resignation, but feeling a joy within each one, willingly accepting the Father’s will or plan in our lives.

Mary was happy at all times, immensely happy, from the very moment of the Annunciation by the angel Gabriel, to the very Passion of Jesus Christ. She was characterized in being happy since she in all ways she always did the will of the Eternal Father.

She freely did the will of the Father, fully accepting the plans that God assigned her, always meditating on things in her heart and falling in love with God day by day, applying his commandments and accepting the beatitudes.

In relation to the above, we can determine that faith is necessary in all spheres, both superior and supernatural. Due to the above, it is the reason why Elizabeth, seeing Mary’s great faith, praises her and professes at the time of her visit: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.”

Faith is such an important virtue in the life of any believer or human being, it was the cause of changing the face of the earth by a large number of men with characteristics of lack of studies, without relationships or influences; they achieved it only with that enormous weapon such as faith in Jesus Christ.

The apostles themselves possessed nothing more than faith. Similarly, the preaching of St. Paul was rooted entirely in faith. Likewise, Saint John with tenderness and security pointed out: “for everything that has been born of God overcomes the world. And what has achieved victory over the world is faith.”

In relation to the above “Jesus commented: can I? And the answer always is and will be: “everything is possible to the one who has faith”.

At the time of the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes, the Jews themselves questioned Jesus Christ about what they should do so that God would be pleased or happy. Jesus himself told them: “The work of God is, that you believe in the Son of God, who has been sent.”

Another of Mary’s virtues. Hope: What was she like? How did she experience it?

As we mentioned in previous paragraphs, the virtue of hope is another of the three theological virtues that we know according to the Catechism and the Catholic Church. This is the virtue that allows us to confidently hope to enter the Kingdom of Heaven and eternal life with God.

Through it we rely on the forces of the Spirit of God himself, and by the promises given by our Lord Jesus Christ. All this putting full trust in the divine forces of the Father. It becomes the longing that we feel placed in our hearts by God.

We can also define hope as the enjoyment of what we do not have, but with the full conviction that it will be achieved on earth and in heavenly and eternal life. It is also about an internal peace and the security of the final victory.

The scriptures are clear in relation to this since it is affirmed and advises us: “That hope should allow us to be happy and joyful; stay strong in trials, let us be persistent in prayer.”

This virtue also gives us strength to continue the fight in all aspects of our lives, work, health, family, children, marriage, etc. It is a symbol of firmness and joy.
